Problem Child Bio:

The world renowned PROBLEM CHILD originated in Bellingham, Washington in 2001. They set out to be authentic and stay true to the look, sound and spirit of AC/DC. Over the years they’ve made many true and loyal fans and continue to raise the bar of authenticity. PROBLEM CHILD is one of the first tribute bands in the Pacific Northwest and is considered to be one of nation’s and world’s most elite tribute band. PROBLEM CHILD is poised to electrify AC/DC fans with the enormous catalog of songs written and performed since 1973.

The tremendous authenticity coupled with featuring two singers covering both the Bon Scott AND Brian Johnson eras is what sets PROBLEM CHILD uniquely apart from dozens of AC/DC tributes around the globe. Each of the band members are veteran professional musicians who each truly capture the look, sound and spirit of one of the greatest rock bands ever.

PROBLEM CHILD has toured most of the Western United States including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Nevada. Internationally, PROBLEM CHILD has performed in British Columbia, Canada and are very excited to be the first and only band from America invited to Scotland to perform at the 15th Annual BONFEST in May 2020.

BONFEST is the largest AC/DC fan festival in the world and is hosted in the childhood home of Bon Scott, AC/DC’s iconic vocalist.  Multiple members of AC/DC have made appearances and this year is particularly noteworthy given that it is the 40th anniversary of Bon Scott’s untimely tragic passing. Check out Bonfest.com for more information.

PROBLEM CHILD has thrilled audiences at all types of venues including night clubs, casinos, theaters and festivals. Outdoor music festivals include The Bite of Seattle, Taste of Edmonds, Taste of Tacoma, Darrington Classic Rock Festival, Bogusfest, 4th of July Classic Rock Festival and Strutzfest. To create an even more authentic experience for the fans, our large theatre shows have included authentic AC/DC stage props such as exploding cannons, a Hell’s Bell, Marshall stack amps, and a large inflatable Rosie doll commonly seen at AC/DC concerts. PROBLEM CHILD has opened for national acts that include Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Thin Lizzy, Puddle of Mud and Quiet Riot.

In 2018, Jack Daniels chose PROBLEM CHILD to be the first band they have ever partnered with in their 300 year company history.  Over the years, PROBLEM CHILD has partnered with many business, civic and media partners including recent notables such as Boundary Bay Brewery, Toyota of Bellingham, Northpoint CBD, Kangaroo & Kiwi, KISM 90.7, KISW 99.9, KZOK 102.5 radio stations. PROBLEM CHILD has helped raise over $10,000 for the Washington State Elk’s Children Therapy Program and has also raised money for the Dementia Society of America and the Treehouse Foster Care Program.

PROBLEM CHILD delivers a high voltage experience for fans of one of the greatest bands in history by authentically recreating the raw power of AC/DC at their crowd pleasing peak .  LET THERE BE ROCK!
