Snug Harbor

10 Year Anniversary and ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Album Release Party

Snug Harbor is a 8 piece funk-soul revival group, tucked away in the corner of the Northwest in the city of Bellingham, WA.  From original compositions to classic covers, Snug Harbor is raw, high-energy soul music and each live show contains elements of improvisation over heavy funk grooves. After six years of recording, performing, and touring this band has really hit its stride.  In 2014, with the addition of three new members, Snug Harbor has been regarded as a top performer in the contemporary funk and soul market.  Follow them online to find out more information on music related releases and tour dates.  Music is available on iTunes, Bandcamp, CDBaby and many more online media outlets.
Snug Harbor averages around 100 shows annually.  In the past these have included several music festivals including:  Sonic Bloom, Summer Meltdown, Northwest Folklife Festival, Fremont Fair, Everett Downtown Waterfront Series, Chinook Fest, Wonk Festival, Urban Music Festival, NW Harvest Fest, LivFest, Ski2Sea Festival, What’s Up! Award Show, Worthy Fest, Seattle Hempfest, Moon Mountain Festival and more.  The group continues to push itself creatively and musically as one of the hardest grooving contemporary funk outfits.
Snug Harbor’s inception was in 2006, and since then has headlined numerous concerts, fairs and festivals as well as opening for such great acts as: Skerik’s Bandalabra, Orgone, Sierra Leone’s Refugee Allstars, Robert Walters 20th Congress, Acorn Project, Monophonics, The Aggrolites, McTuff, Five Alarm Funk, Delhi 2 Dublin, Juno What!?, Wil Blades & Scott Amendola, McTuff, Marmalade, Polecat, Sophistafunk, Jellybread, Prophet Massive, Medium Troy and many others…
In 2014, Snug Harbor added several new members to the group including a new female vocalist and guitarist.  Due to the overwhelming response, the group starting touring more and landed itself as the backing band for Pretty Lights recording artist Michal Menert’s Big Band.  Their debut performance was at Sonic Bloom Music Festival in June, front of five thousand people with a strong follow up at the Fillmore (Nov 2014) as well.  Snug Harbor continues to tour both as the premier  funk  and soul band as well as support for Michal Menert Big Band.

‘Snug Harbor’ , ‘Sounds From the York’ and ‘This Is Snug’ albums can be found for sale on iTunes, CDbaby, Bandcamp, Amazon, Rhapsody and many other online media outlets.

COSMOS has had a great couple years in Seattle playing at nationally renowned festivals such as Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot and Sasquatch! Music Festival to name a few. They initially garnered attention from winning EMP’s (now MoPOP) Battle of the Bands competition in early 2016 and since have been receiving attention all across the globe. In 2017, they were one of nine bands in the nation selected to be apart MUSICOLOGY — a battle of the bands event hosted at Prince’s Paisley Park Estate in Chanhassen, MN. To keep the momentum pushing, they released their debut mixtape “Moonshine” in March, which is now available for streaming everywhere via
